Privacy Policy
Site History — This Site Only, version 1.0.0.
Last updated: 2 November 2026.
Site History does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It has no server, no account system, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking. Everything it shows you is read from your own browser, on your own machine, and is discarded when you close the popup.
What the extension accesses
-
Your browsing history (
historypermission). When you open the popup, it queries the history for the date range you selected — today, yesterday, or a custom range — and keeps only the pages whose hostname matches the site you are on, to list them with their visit count and time. If you click the cross on a row, that one page is deleted from your history. -
The address of the active tab
(
activeTabpermission). Only the hostname is read, and only at the moment you click the toolbar icon, to know which site to filter by. Page content is never read, and nothing is injected into any page. - One interface preference. Whether the popup is compact or wide is saved in the extension's local storage on your device so your choice is remembered. It is a single value with no relation to you or to any site you visit.
What never happens
- No data is sent anywhere. The extension makes no network requests.
- No history entry leaves your browser or is shared with anyone.
- No analytics, telemetry, identifiers, or cookies are collected.
- No remote code is loaded or executed; all code ships in the package.
- Nothing is sold, rented, or used for advertising or credit purposes.
Where your data lives
History results exist only in the popup's memory while it is open and are rendered directly into its list. Closing the popup discards them. The extension never writes history data to a file, to Chrome storage, or to any other site or service.
This website
The Site History product page sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts, fonts, or trackers, so it does not track visitors.
Changes
If a future version changes any of this, this page is updated and its date above changes with it.
